Dave Matthews Band

Dave Matthews Band, named after the lead singer, formed in 1991, merging alternative rock, jazz, and bluegrass genres to become a household name. Abstract album covers such as Before These Crowded Streets and Under the Table and Dreaming inspire the rustic bar setting, bright mural artwork, and wood and leather textures.

Ozzy Osbourne

Known as the “Prince of Darkness,” heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne got his start in the 1970s as the frontman of the band Black Sabbath and continued hypnotizing audiences with his dramatic and captivating performances. Mirroring Osbourne’s home and juxtaposition of regal and haunting elements, this space is classy and traditional, with vintage armchairs, a luxurious antique couch, black lampshades and coffee table and eccentric wall art.

Kool & the Gang

R&B group Kool & the Gang launched in the late ‘60s and mixed funk, jazz, and disco, creating popular dance anthems heard globally. Their eclectic album covers like Wild and Peaceful and groovy hits of the ‘80s serve as the muse for this hip downtown restaurant interior featuring neon lights, classic suede, and abstract wall décor.

Mary J. Blige

Nine-time Grammy-winning artist Mary J. Blige infuses hip-hop and urban-rooted style into her music, redefining the R&B genre. Inspired by her Bronx upbringing and her music video Be Without You, this rich and soulful space incorporates colorful African art, a rust-colored suede couch, and hardwood floors for a bold and expressive interior.

Cher

International sensation Cher began her music career in the 1960s as part of the duo Sonny and Cher, before embarking as a solo artist and actress. Cher’s Malibu home design and aesthetic influences this modern-day Victorian-style exterior, featuring lush greenery, enlarged windows, and pillared columns for a sophisticated and dreamy space.

A Tribe Called Quest

New York natives A Tribe Called Quest formed in 1985 as pioneers of hip hop, incorporating jazz and Afro-centric rhymes to their rap music. Their use of primary colors throughout multiple albums, including The Low End Theory, is a soulful interpretation of reds, greens, and yellows, in this loft-style space, featuring bold wall art and a combination of concrete and wood elements.

Foreigner

British-American classic rock band Foreigner has spent the last five decades producing hits and selling over eighty million records with the driving forces Lou Gramm and Mick Jones. Their 1984 album cover for Agent Provocateur lends itself as inspiration for this sleek and trendy living room space, with pops of yellows and red throughout, leather couches, and pendant fixtures.

Peter Frampton

British-born singer-songwriter Peter Frampton emerged in the ‘70s with a steady stream of hit songs. His impressive guitar skills and use of the talk box to blend his voice and instruments created a dynamic sound. Inspired by Frampton’s guitar collection, this studio space uses a rich blue palette and electric guitars as wall art, for a warm and inviting music room.
